Droughts, Deer, And My Peaches…

IMG_4612
Do you see the deer?
She’s out there eatin’ the peaches becuz there isn’t any grass for her to eat. There was also a rabbit with her… like Bambi and Thumper.
There was also coons and skunks that came around at night to eat them. The coons pooped in the driveway and the skunks just stunk up the place!! Not very good guests... sorta like relatives.
We did get 2 inches of rain over a week… so we are greenin’ up!

Oh and the Bad Apple... The ladies did contact her and I sent emails to remind her but when you are dealin' with a person that apparently is an idiot... and that's a mild word for her... you can't expect her to come thru.
That was in Feb. And Nothing!!

I do see the deer! I took the trash to the curb this morning to find something had slide off the garbage bin lid and tore open a bag. I suspect it was either the fox my son was telling me about or perhaps a raccoon or groundhog. There is a huge groundhog I see in our backyard frequently and I'm certain he could get into the trash easy enough. Thankfully, whatever got in didn't do too much damage and wasn't too much trouble to pick up. Now that DS is in college, trash duty falls on my shoulders once again. Have a great day randomizing! It's beginning to feel like fall at nights here in the Tennessee valley. I'm loving it,too!

Oh no! At least they found stuff to eat, though it may not be what you wanted them to. Here's hoping more rain comes your way.

I must be blind, I don't see the deer, I'm going back to look again... but I like the bambi/thumper thing. Cute!

Ahh, we're dealing with the same drought problems here - my mom's garden has been attached by birds, coons, all kinds of creatures - they just have nothing to eat!

Well, the deer are surviving at least, right? This was a horrible summer for the lil cute animals. I feel sorry for them so I'm glad you had something for them to eat! And how cute that Bambi and Thumper were hangin' out together!

Thanks for linking up!! =)

Aw, so cute! The most wildlife I see outside my house is a smelly skunk :(
