Aging, Facebook, and Denial…

I was goin’ thru FakeBook, checkin’ out all the hot guys from High School… and I have to say, “Dude! You got Freakin’ Old!!

I’m still dancin’ nekked in the rain and turnin’ friggin’ Cartwheels! What the Hell Happen to them?

Did they give up?

Or am I in denial?

Do you feel that way? Like you are still the same and EVERYONE ELSE is old.

Do Not Forget to leave a Comment!!!

I see a lot of people that I knew when I was younger and still going to church with my parents. They were younger than me, kids, ya know. And now, they are getting married and having kids. I didn't think they were old enough to do that. Weird.

My friend Denny and I are all the time talking about this! We think we look way younger than the women our age who married and had kids. We figure we had less stress since we're old maids. Ha! We "think" younger, too, as we never had to act particularly mature for our childrens' sakes. I've only seen one girl from my senior class. She looked like she'd been rode hard and put away wet. So...YES. I agree with you.

My brother, the car nut, always told me that "it's not the number of years, it's the number of miles that count".

I am SO screwed.

I think that everyone's gained weight and then I look in a mirror. . . oh. Me too.

I think 'most' of my friends have aged quite well. There are a few of them though that sort of scare the hell outta me. LOL!

I feel that way everyday, and every once in a blue moon (when I'm dancing naked under it) I wonder if I need to grow up. But then I give my head a shake and it's all okay again :)
